The Creative Process Behind a Photo Session
Every great photograph has a creative process behind it that starts with an idea and ends with a remarkable image. It all begins with planning: choosing the theme, the location and the style of the session. That means thinking about lighting, wardrobe and how these elements will come together to tell a visual story that, ideally, expresses what we want and subtly shows our command of visual language!
Lighting is crucial. Depending on the effect you want, you can go with natural light, studio lighting or a mix of both. The right light can completely change how a photo looks, bringing out textures and creating unique moods.
During the session, communication between photographer and model is essential. A good photographer knows how to guide the model to bring out their best, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere. That's when the magic happens and those spontaneous, natural images get captured.
